JURY FORM

In 2025 we will continue to get back to the roots of Applewood Arts Festivals by being more strict on requirements for handmade items.  We will only allow 5% of the total number of booths at each festival to be a “market” booth.  A market booth would include some buy to sell items. 95% of our booths at each festival will be handmade only moving forward. Thanks for all the feedback on this, attendees and artisans alike.

Featured Artisan

Terre Christensen PotTerre Raku & Stoneware

We are thrilled to have the Terre with us at all four of our festivals for 2025. Her unique hand-crafted pottery booth is always full of seasonal collectibles and gifts!

“Starting as a hobbyist in 1994, I turned a pastime into a retail/wholesale business in 2009. I have honed my skills experimenting with different methods of fabrication and firing. Each piece of PotTerre is created to be treasured with careful attention given to each detail and commitment to quality. It’s not a product ~ it’s meant to be a work of art, not a mass-produced duplicate of what someone else might offer.

Raku’s unpredictability appeals to me. I love the colors, metallic qualities, and textures which transform a simple piece into something distinctive and interesting. Using four types of raku firing methods as well as stoneware glazing, finishes are carefully chosen to fit the individual piece.

Working in art is a delicate balance in business and enjoyment. I strive to remain passionate about the creativity and allow myself the time to include the details to make my work something of which I am proud and what I hope will bring joy and inspiration to others.”

Praise from our exhibitors

I love being part of the Applewood family. Robin and Jerry are fantastic to work with and really care about the vendors.  I’ve made some great friends during my time with this organization and love seeing all my repeat customers each year!
